Granite

Nothing compares to the natural beauty and crystalline depth of natural granite. Natural stone, quarried throughout the world, is durable, abrasion-resistant, and heat-resistant. Its strength and longevity make it the right choice for heavily used surfaces indoors and outdoors.

Granite is a porous material which comes from the factory with a sealer; however the stone needs to be resealed occasionally. A new trend appearing are branded granites which come with a presealer that grants a limited fifteen year warranty for food stains. One of these branded products that we fabricate is SenSa, a product which is certified by the Greenguard Environmental Institute and has been tested for safety.

We provide a large number of stock colors and slabs from which to choose. Cardinal Kitchens and Commercial Surfaces provides the customer the option to actually choose the slab to be used on their individual project. Because stone is nature made, sample colors can vary from slab to slab with great variation. We encourage our customers to be “hands on” and make their selection to guarantee satisfaction. We are pleased to work with the consumer as well as designer or builder for stone selection.
