IceStone®

IceStone®  is 100% recycled glass in a concrete matrix. IceStone® is heat- and scratch-resistant and needs only an occasional water based sealer. It is recommended for a variety of surfaces: counters, vanities, fireplace surrounds, and furnishings. It is extremely durable, resistant to extremes of temperature, and will not fade; therefore an excellent surface for interior and exterior surfaces.

The terrazzo-appearing surface material comes in a variety of colors from earth-toned neutrals to rich, saturated colors. It comes with a high polish but other finishes are available in addition to several different edges. Though highly functional, it is known for its sparkling beauty.

IceStone® answers the call for environmentally sustainable building materials for counters. Using IceStone® in your residence or commercial project shows your desire to comply with Green standards and can qualify you for up to 6 Leeds points from USGBC. An added benefit is that IceStone® contains no solvent or petroleum based materials and emits no fumes. IceStone® is the first and only totally recyclable product; therefore carries the only “Cradle to Cradle” Certification(CM) for a durable surface.
