ECO™ by Cosentino

ECO™ by Cosentino is a durable surface made of 75 % recycled content composed of post-industrial or post-consumer materials and is bound by an environmentally friendly resin. Most of the materials used in the creation of ECO are Porcelain, Glass, Crystallized Ash, Mirror, Corn Based Resin, and Stone Scraps. The composite is formed from extracted and recycled contents which abide by a conscious effort to protect the environment. Water is recycled, quarries are fully restored, and the manufacturing process itself is strictly controlled to avoid emissions into the air.

ECO is

stain, scratch and scorch resistant
non-porous, does not need sealing
available in 10 designer colors: 6 in the "Green Collection" and 4 in the "Revive" collection
available in 2 or 4 cm

Building teams can gain points toward LEED Certification from the United States Green Building Council for a building project with ECO surfacing. ECO has Cradle to Cradle Silver certification and these products contribute toward earning LEED points in several categories.
